Usually the first couple of months of a new year are quiet and it is a great time to get on top of all the sorting and preparations ready for the wedding season to begin. However we have been really busy over the last few weeks meeting up with lots of new brides and grooms and their
families to discuss floral requirements and wedding ideas.
We offer a free No-Obligation consultation and we have been busy meeting people most weekends (Saturday & Sunday) since January and the diary is completely full until 19th March...how brilliant is that?
Next weekend is the start of our working year. Our 1st wedding of 2011 is at the Tithe Barn in Ditcham where the bride and groom are having a civil ceremony and reception. They are both interested and have a passion for skiing and we are making some unusual and unique displays with white wood and lots of LED lighting to personalize their special day and bring out the snow aspect for them. I hope to post some pictures very soon after the event.
As any one who meets Someflower will know we are very passionate about being budget conscious and work within a budget that our clients are happy with. For this wedding the clients were wanting the aisle decorated but did not want the usual topiary set up that always looks fabulous at the barn. So we have decided to be a little clever and create some lovely displays that are going to be used to decorate the aisle and then are also suitable to be used as table centres after the ceremony. I am sure it will look amazing and nice to have something different to showcase at the barn.
Purple and purple roses seem to be again a very popular choice for a lot of you 2011/2012 brides. We have had a couple of enquiries about black and white colour themes and also believe it or not two enquiries about using LIVE FISH in the table displays!!!
I have a feeling that Someflower will be having a really interesting year again....and we say "We can't wait"!!!
If you would like to arrange to meet up to discuss your floral requirements with Someflower, please feel free to contact us anytime. It would be lovely to see you.
