Everything Pink & Roses @ The Langrish House Hotel

Everything was pink and roses for Sarah and Tom's wedding last month at Langrish House Hotel, Langrish, Near Petersfield. Another lovely local venue to us here at Someflower.

The couple had their wedding reception at St Mary's Church, Buriton followed by their reception at Langrish House.

Here is a photograph of Sarah holding her hand tied bouquet of 3 different varieties of roses called Aqua, Ooops and Sweet Avalanche.

The colour theme was pinks and silvers, so we complimented the bridal flowers with million star gypsophilia, silver skeleton leaves, crystals and diamante embellishments.

These lovely photographs were taken on the day by a great photographer Ian Burnett
Ian is based in Portsmouth and has just the most relaxed but professional approach to photography. Click on the link to view his interesting website.
Also I must take this opportunity to Thank Ian for also taking time to chat with me about doing a blog. I t was something I had been meaning to do...but was a little scared about the "TECHNO" side of it all...however Ian put my fears at ease and after taking his advice and looking into his blog and a few others I decided to take the plunge and give it a go.
And here I am ...and loving every minute of it....so Thanks Ian xx

Cheryl and Andrew. Manor Barn April 2010

We were kindly sent a selection of photographs taken at Cheryl and Andrews wedding at The Manor Barn in April this year that I would like to share with you.
I will never forget that week, as all flights had been cancelled to and from the UK due to the volcanic ash.
Unfortunatly some of Cheryl and Andrews guests were unable to make their wedding day, and I was having sleepless nights hoping that thier flower order was going to arrive on time.
The flowers as you can see from the photographs certainly did arrive, and beautiful they were too. Cheryl chose dusky purples, lavender and cream in her natural hand tied bridal bouquet. This colour harmony really suited her tranquil and beautiful personality. The dusky/vintage and dusty colour pallette is turning out to be a very popular colour theme for this year.

Sarah Aires Photography:Paul and Trudi’s Wedding - The Manor Barn, Buriton

Last month we has a wonderful couple of days in Buriton decorating St Mary's Church and The Manor Barn for Trudi and Paul. The sun just shone down the whole time and everyone envolved seemed very relaxed (even Paul who had only returned home a few days before his special day from The England Rugby World Tour in Australia).

We loved the colours and style for this wedding...it was very in keeping with both the church and the Manor Barn. You will see from the photographs that peach and coral shades were used as the main focal colour. A really striking harmony that I think is making a come back, and I hope we will see more of in the future. There was lots of peach gingham, enamel jugs, an eclectic array of jars and pots, hay bales and parasols. There were no matching flower displays, every arrangement was different and had "a just picked from the garden" look .

We used lots of seasonal cottage and country flowers which included a gorgeous new coral rose called "Miss Piggy" which you can see so perfectly in the breathtaking photographs that Sarah Aires captured of the day, along with all her other stunning images. Please click on this postings title Sarah Aires Photography: Paul and Trudi's wedding and take 5 minutes look at some brilliant images of this wedding.
