Here at Someflower we have been very fortunate to have been involved in some wonderful and exciting non traditional weddings such as this lovely and colourful Hindu ceremony last year at the Manor Barn in Buriton.
I was just looking through the portfolios with another Indian client this morning to show some of previous ideas that we have come up with to decorate a venue with a tradional and eastern floral fusion.
What we have really enjoyed in all our Eastern Weddings is the use of colour at these weddings, and decorating such wonderful accessories such as staues and Mandaps.
The Hot Pink, Purple and Lime Green colour pallette was simply stunning. Ganesh statues were situated eitherside of all the entrances to the barn and welcomed guests to what was just a magical ceremony. Faye and I were very honoured to be invited to stay for the ceremony.
I have been to a few Indian ceremonies before in the past. A few when I worked in London and also my partners family are Indian and we have celebrated such occasions as Divali with them...but not a wedding til last year. A wedding is fabulous and I love the sense of togetherness and family, tradition and belief that a ceremony like this evokes....you could say all the ingredients for a successful marriage??!!
