This venue is just the most romantic setting for a civil ceremony. Guests greeted one another on the terrace overlooking the breathtaking views of the park before taking a seat inside the Belvedere for the marriage of Richard and Laura.
Such a romantic setting required a romantic English Country Garden feel to all the Floral Decorations. We made this large floral heart to hang as a symbol of their marriage. Pink Sarah Bernhard Peonies, Pacific Blue and White Avalanche Roses and Lisianthus were the focal flowers of this display, finished with freshly picked garden herbs and foliage and we also included cottage blackberries. It looked lovely as a focal point.
Chunky low level table displays in glass square tank vases adorned the tables. We just loved making these and got totally carried away with the flower choices. We used two different varieties of dusky pink hydrangea, scented Rialto lilies, pink Anna veronica, larkspur, Million Star gypsophilia, Mariachi lilac lisianthus and Sweet Avalanche pale pale pink roses were are main choice flowers. What made these displays a true pleasure to make was the fact we decided to make them freestyle...which means we just picked the flowers for each display and made each one slightly different and arranged them very informally and naturally.
A ederly lady watching us unload commented about these table arrangements. She wanted to know if we had picked the flowers from the grounds? 
"Unfortunatly No" I replied "Why do you ask?" She said "Because theyWhat a true compliment. I was thrilled.
remind me of the flowers I used to pick from my garden when I was a very little
girl, a real selection of proper garden flowers, how nice to see them
together".
Low voluptious table centers look superb in a smaller venue. Also do not be afraid of using colour to enhance your tables. Our colour brief for this wedding was Pale Pinks, Dusky Purples and Lilacs. As soon as I get some of the official photographs of the bridal flowers I will post the images as you can see how we kept to the brief for them....however we were trusted by the Bride and Groom to select flowers for the tables. Using a stronger colour palette againt the white linen gives a lot of imapct and depth.
